Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and function
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Document patient treatments and outcomes accurately and timely
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of New Hampshire
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a PTA in a clinical setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Education
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercise, modalities, and gait training
- Ability to adapt treatment plans to patient needs
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
