We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

13 Week Contract with the option to extend or go perm.

Shift Start and End Time: 8:00- 5:00  Mon-Fri

90% front office and 10% back office.

Primary Care clinic setting is highly preferred

Two or more years experience in medical field, physician’s office/direct patient care; ability to perform spirometry, EKG, use centrifuge, microscope, pulse oximeter, computer skills; ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology; ability to effectively communicate and excellent customer service skills.

Float: La Verne and Claremont Clinic Locations is required

 

Responsibilities:

• Work with Primary Care provider- taking Vitals
• Rooming patients, giving injections, wound care,
• Physicals & Well child exam
• Setting up for minor procedures,
• Messaging
• Calling patients with results

 

Preferred skills:

• Electronic EMR. Basic Computer and Phone

 

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program

Certification:

• MA Certificate
• BLS
