Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOverview Licensed Practical Nurse - Long Term Care travel assignment in Ossian, IA, United States. Start date 11/02/2026; Duration: Weeks; Weekly pay: $1,429–$1,549 per week; Guaranteed hours: 36; Shift: 06:00 AM–06:00 PM; Setting: LTC - Nursing Home. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $1,429–$1,549 per week - Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week - Contract duration: Weeks (travel assignment) - Shift: 12-hour day shift, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM - Start date: 11/02/2026 - Setting: Long Term Care – Nursing Home Responsibilities - Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration per physician orders and accurate documentation. - Monitor vital signs, assess changes, and report variances to the supervising registered nurse. - Assist residents with activities of daily living and promote independence and comfort. - Implement and adjust care plans, perform basic wound care, and follow infection control and safety protocols. - Maintain accurate charting and communication with the health care team to coordinate care. - Ensure resident safety, fall prevention, and adherence to facility policies and regulatory requirements.
