Local Site Support (LSS) Technician - Caguas, Puerto Rico

Location: PR-Caguas-West Industrial Park (On-site)

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Role Overview: Provide hands-on end-user IT support, local office infrastructure maintenance, asset management, and project-based site support in close coordination with remote Level 2 (L2) teams.
1. User On-Prem IT Support
-
Provide basic troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, mobile phones, printers, and peripherals across Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Provision, deprovision, clean, and re-deploy corporate devices.
-
Replace damaged equipment with temporary loaner units per corporate guidelines.
-
Coordinate with remote L2/EComputing and EMM teams during escalated troubleshooting.
2. Office IT Infrastructure & Hands-On Support
-
Perform basic troubleshooting, installation, and cabling for connectivity, printing, voice, Wi-Fi, and LAN.
-
Install, test, and remove core network devices (switches, routers, access points, Out of Band, Firewalls, NAC, Secnet).
-
Support smart office sensors, digital signage, smart metering, and AV/print equipment in coordination with remote AV teams.
-
Escort third-party vendors and service providers into local data/network rooms.
-
Assist with internal/external audits, SOX, and compliance reviews.
3. Asset Management & Logistics
-
Receive, unbox, tag, register, and securely store hardware assets upon arrival.
-
Image in-stock devices with standard OS builds and maintain accurate inventory records.
-
Wipe retired devices and coordinate certified disposal/recycling processes.
-
Handle warranty repairs and offsite tape management where applicable.
4. Project & Event Support
-
Support office moves, physical equipment relocations, and hardware refresh programs.
-
Assist with local business events, demos, and all-hands meetings on demand.
-
Experience: 2 5+ years in On-Site IT Support, Desktop Support, or Field Engineering.

Core Skills: Basic TCP/IP networking, Windows OS imaging, Active Directory/M365 basics, hardware unboxing/racking, and asset management.
-
Key Soft Skills: Highly organized, strong communicator (B2+ English/Spanish), self-starter able to act as the "hands & feet" for remote L2 engineers.
