Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in medical-surgical care. The unit has 30 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5. The role involves caring for a diverse patient population including medical, surgical, renal, and behavioral health patients. The nurse will be expected to float to similar units as needed. All nurses on the unit are required to maintain proficiency with the electronic medical record system. The team values collaboration and a supportive work environment. Weekend shifts will be scheduled every third weekend, with additional shifts assigned as necessary. This role does not have on-call requirements. All candidates must possess the required certifications and experience to ensure quality patient care. Candidates should be prepared to complete any necessary education modules prior to the first day.
