**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to elevate your nursing career and make a significant impact on patient care? - As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population! - Engage in continuous learning and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for our patients. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Assessment:** - Collect comprehensive data pertinent to patient health. - Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. - Recognize clinical and diagnostic changes in patient conditions. - **Planning:** - Develop personalized care plans that outline strategies to achieve desired outcomes. - Formulate patient and family-centered goals based on assessment data. - Coordinate care plans that focus on patient needs across the continuum of care. - **Implementation:** - Communicate and execute the plan of care effectively. - Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team. - Implement age and disease-specific care in a timely and organized manner. - Document patient assessments and care interventions electronically. - Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning technologies to ensure safety. - **Evaluation:** - Assess progress towards achieving care outcomes. - Utilize critical thinking to respond to changes in patient conditions. - Foster patient satisfaction by recognizing and addressing needs and concerns. - **Additional Responsibilities:** - Identify and address ethical issues within the practice. - Commit to continuing education and maintain required certifications. - Adhere to the American Nurses Association Code for Nurses and organizational standards. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years of RN experience. - Prior experience in Surgical and/or Radiology. - Strong symptom management capabilities. - Proficient in phone triage and navigation. - Compassionate, communicative, and a solid team player. - Quick learner with an adaptable approach to changing patient needs. **Preferred Skills & Experience:** - Bilingual Spanish candidates highly preferred. **Education:** - **Required:** ASN from an accredited nursing school. - **Preferred:** BSN. **Certifications & Licenses:** - **Required:** - RN - BLS-AHA - ACLS-AHA - Telemetry - NIHSS - **Preferred:** N/A **Schedule Notes:** - Job Title: Orthopedics, Surgical, Telemetry - Shift: Day 7 AM - 7 PM - Hours Per Week: 36 - Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd Weekend - Float Requirement: Yes, as needed to other inpatient units **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
