As a Security Officer Patrol Sweep in Saint Louis, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, staff, and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, verify access permissions when required, and document daily activities, observations, and/or incidents in accordance with post instructions.
• Support emergency response activities, provide directional assistance, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or property issues that could affect normal operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
