Paraeducator Position

Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking a paraeducator for the 2026-2027 school year at North Elementary School. The special education paraeducator provides direct support to students with disabilities in various educational settings, ensuring they have the necessary assistance to succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally. Working under the supervision of a certified special education teacher, the paraprofessional assists with classroom instruction, behavioral management, and individualized student needs. This is a full time, 10 month, 180 day school year position, and will work with students in various educational settings. Applicants must hold or be eligible for a paraprofessional license from the Illinois State Board of Education.
