Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, evaluating both emotional and physical health aspects to identify the specific needs of each patient.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address both psychiatric issues and comorbid medical conditions.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, tailored to meet the specific circumstances of patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Demonstrated experience in addressing mental health issues within patients who have co-occurring medical conditions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build rapport and trust with patients.
• Strong ethical foundation with the ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to confidentiality standards.
• Proficient in electronic health record systems and various computer applications relevant to mental health counseling.
• Ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary team setting, contributing positively to the overall work culture.

Preferred Experience

While experience dealing specifically with a diverse patient base is paramount, candidates who are well-versed in trauma-informed care models, integrated treatment approaches, and evidence-based practices are highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits
