Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments, evaluating both emotional and physical health aspects to identify the specific needs of each patient.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address both psychiatric issues and comorbid medical conditions.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, tailored to meet the specific circumstances of patients.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary medical providers to coordinate care, sharing insights that enhance the treatment experience and outcomes for patients.
- Provide timely crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and effective response strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
- Demonstrated experience in addressing mental health issues within patients who have co-occurring medical conditions.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build rapport and trust with patients.
- Strong ethical foundation with the ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to confidentiality standards.
- Proficient in electronic health record systems and various computer applications relevant to mental health counseling.
- Ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary team setting, contributing positively to the overall work culture.
Preferred Experience
While experience dealing specifically with a diverse patient base is paramount, candidates who are well-versed in trauma-informed care models, integrated treatment approaches, and evidence-based practices are highly desirable. Previous success in crisis management and conflict resolution will also be an asset.
Compensation and Benefits
