Screw Machine Operator

The Screw Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating assigned multiple spindle automatic screw machines.

Responsibilities:

* Set up and operate multi-spindle automatic screw machines, installing tooling, cams, gears, drills, and bar stock while adjusting feeds, speeds, and machine settings to produce parts according to drawings and specifications

* Perform first-piece and in-process inspections, sharpen and replace tooling as needed, make machine adjustments, and verify part quality to ensure compliance with quality standards

* Read and follow machine drawings, setup sheets, specifications, and work instructions, coordinating with Team Leaders and Set-Up personnel to complete production runs efficiently

* Maintain continuous production by replenishing bar stock, preparing machines for shift changes, obtaining required materials and tooling, and supporting safe, organized work areas

Required Skills & Experience:

* Must have previous experience operating in a similar facility

* Set-up experience and minor troubleshooting experience

* Must be able to work Monday to Thursday from 5am to 4:30pm or 4:30pm to 5am

* Mechanical ability

Preferred Skills & Experience:

* Ability to read blueprints
