Scope of Responsibility

The Respiratory Therapist will also perform diagnostic procedures and ensure ventilators and life support equipment are operable.

Responsible to Director of Cardiopulmonary

Education

Associates Degree or two year Certification in Respiratory Care

Licensed by the Texas Medical Board

Training and Experience

Attains and Maintains American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider

Attains and Maintains NRP within 90 days of hire and ACLS, PALS within 6 months of hire

1 year Respiratory care experience preferred

Education

Associates or better in Respiratory Care.
