• Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, a 974-bed tertiary referral hospital.
• This is an inpatient-only role with a Monday-Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• The position does not require nights, call, or weekends, providing an optimal work-life balance.
• The inpatient unit consists of 52 beds, ensuring a diverse and engaging caseload.
• Teams are thoughtfully capped at 14 patients per day, promoting quality patient care and attention.
• The average TOTAL inpatient census ranges from 38 to 52, offering a dynamic and varied experience.
• Each provider typically manages 12-14 patients per day, involving rounding with residents daily, except Thursday afternoons.
• Admissions are primarily scheduled during the day, with an average of 0-3 per 24 hours.
