Shifts Available: Days 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM M-F; Night 5:15 PM – 5:30 AM 2‑2‑3 Schedule. Schedule: Depending on Skill Level and Business Need. Work with Value Stream Manager, Asset care manager, TSM, Work Group Leaders, Process Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, Line Technicians, Set-up Technicians, etc. to improve overall line reliability and case attainment. Key Job Requirements Diagnose faulty production and related plant equipment with minimal supervision using schematics, manuals, and drawings. Repair electro-mechanical problems, troubleshoot electrical issues, understand preventative maintenance strategies, and train others. Complete setup and process the line from scratch after a change over. Understand lip roller and bagger functions to allow new products to run through equipment. Conduct R&D trials on the shop floor and in the tech center. Identify faulty parts and provide proper nomenclature in requisitions for spares. Know spare part locations and observe store room withdrawal/return procedures. General working knowledge of machine shop equipment. Team-oriented, leadership qualities, capable of leading co-workers. Maintain records and established maintenance procedures. Use SAP and RTC programs within Pactiv. Maintain a clean, safe environment. Perform shift-specific duties as assigned. Train and communicate with the work group. Walk through story boards, develop action plans to resolve repeat failures. Lead line improvement projects, experiments, and design work. 24/7 on-call phone support. Other duties as necessary. Utilize standard hand tools. Operate basic machine shop equipment. Maintenance/Repair Advanced mechanical aptitude and abilities. Knowledge of production technological methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment. Education & Experience Three to five years of experience in a related field. High school graduate required. Completion of vocational or trade school with electro‑mechanical focus desired. Ability to read and use precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Speaking and presentation skills for effective meetings. ADA – Essential Functions Work an 8–10 hour shift, standing and walking for extended periods. Climb.
