Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy technician role is available for a 13-week contract assignment in Cibolo, TX. This position focuses on supporting pharmacy operations through prescription compounding, preparation, and processing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications according to established policies and state regulations.
• Accurately compound and prepare medications and supplies.
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations to verify correct dosages.
• Properly label and package medications for dispensing.
• Participate in identifying, managing, documenting, and reporting medication-related incidents.
• Maintain and sanitize pharmacy work surfaces, including laminar flow hoods.
• Inspect pharmacy equipment regularly and report any malfunctions.
• Document pharmacy temperature logs and cleaning records to ensure compliance.
• Support general pharmacy organization and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license.
• Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
• IV certification is required.
