CDL A Driver – Job DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL A Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience operating commercial vehicles, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.Responsibilities:Safely operate CDL A trucks in compliance with DOT regulations.Transport loads to and from customer locations, job sites, and designated facilities.Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues.Secure loads properly and ensure accurate documentation of each haul.Maintain communication with dispatch regarding routes, delays, or required updates.Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean driving record.Requirements:Valid CDL A license with clean MVR.Experience with flatbed, dry van, or other applicable equipment (company may specify).Ability to lift, strap, tarp, or assist with load securement as needed.Strong communication and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism with customers.Preferred:Experience in roll-off, dump, flatbed, or local route operations (adjust as needed).Familiarity with electronic logs and standard DOT paperwork.
