How you'll contribute. A Nurse Aide who excels in this role provides essential support to nursing staff by performing basic patient care duties, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients.

Perform basic patient care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.

Provide general nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment.

Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation.

Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, as well as intake and output measurements.

Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings.

Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.

Respond promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Other duties as assigned. Employees may be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.

What we're looking for. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Effective communication and teamwork skills required. Ability to prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced care setting.

Education: Minimum six months of experience in an acute or long-term care facility preferred.

Certifications: CPR/BCLS certification required.

Schedule: 3x12, Days (7a-7p), rotating weekends.
