Client is looking for talent who can:

• Design and animate UI motion for new features, screens, and interactions across client’s apps.
• Partner with product designers to translate static concepts into interactive, animated prototypes.
• Work directly with engineers to hand off motion specs and ensure animations ship as intended (timing, easing, physics, performance).
• Build and maintain a motion design system/library for consistency across the product.
• Prototype interaction ideas quickly to validate feel before full engineering investment.
• Balance creative polish with technical constraints (performance, platform guidelines, device capabilities).
• Communicate clearly with crossfunctional teams on scope, timelines, and trade-offs.

Summary:

• Client is seeking a UI Animator/Motion Designer to work on consumer software applications for Platforms.
• The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in all of the classic principles of animation and is a brilliant problem solver, quick study, self starter, and excellent communicator with a passion for great design and the ability to achieve it.
• From brainstorming through implementation, the Animator/Motion Designer will work with members of the Product & Design team, as well as client’s engineering, marketing, and QA groups.
• Client is looking for a candidate who is ready to and capable of taking software design to the next level.
• The candidate possesses strong UI animation and motion design.

Key Qualifications:

• At least 7 to 10 years of experience in UI/interactive motion design.
• Expert in After Effects; fluent in prototyping tools (Principle, Figma, etc.)
• Comfortable with "vibe coding" workflows.
• Proven track record collaborating with engineers to ship production motion (not just concept work).
• Strong grasp of platform motion guidelines (iOS/Android/Web) and animation principles.
• Excellent project management instincts, able to set and hit deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.
• A portfolio showcasing shipped UI/interactive motion work.

Nice to Have:

• 3D Animation/Design experience.
• Non-UI Motion Graphics portfolio.
• Basic coding/scripting knowledge.

Pay Range: $80 - $85/hour on W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
