Purchasing & Sourcing CoordinatorLocation: Onsite Pay Rate: $21.00/hour Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing & Sourcing Coordinator to support sourcing, quoting, purchasing, and supplier performance activities. This role is responsible for coordinating material procurement activities, managing supplier communications, creating purchase orders, and tracking supplier performance to ensure materials are delivered accurately and on time.The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent follow-up abilities, and experience working within purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or administrative support functions.Key ResponsibilitiesSourcingUtilize company systems to verify material requests and sourcing requirements.Review manufacturing and ordering locations, order quantities, reorder frequency, and shelf-life requirements.Ensure all material requests are accurate and aligned with business needs.QuotingCreate and distribute Requests for Quote (RFQs) to approved suppliers.Monitor and track outstanding quotes to ensure timely responses.Follow up with suppliers to ensure quotes are received within established turnaround times.Maintain clear communication with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, and delivery expectations.PurchasingCreate and process purchase orders within company purchasing systems.Attach and maintain supporting documentation, including supplier quotes.Route purchase orders for approval and monitor approval status.Track outstanding purchase orders and provide status updates.Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure materials are delivered accurately, completely, and on schedule.Follow up on delayed deliveries, shortages, or discrepancies as needed.Supplier Performance & ReportingCreate and maintain supplier scorecards.Track supplier performance metrics including: On-time deliveryOrder accuracyComplete shipmentsOverall supplier responsivenessAssist with reporting and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsRequiredHigh School Diploma or GEDStrong organizational and administrative skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)Strong attention to detail and accuracyPreferredPrevious experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, supply chain, inventory management, or administrative supportExperience working with ERP or purchasing systemsKnowledge of purchase order processing and supplier communicationsExperience creating reports, scorecards, or performance metricsKey SkillsPurchasing CoordinationSupplier ManagementPurchase Order ProcessingData Entry & DocumentationMicrosoft ExcelCommunication & Follow-UpTime ManagementProblem SolvingAttention to DetailWhy Join Us?Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends Competitive pay at $21.00/hour Opportunity to gain experience in purchasing and supply chain operations Collaborative team environment Long-term career growth potentialApply today if you enjoy working with suppliers, managing procurement processes, and ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time.ManpowerGroup recognizes the importance of providing an accessible and barrier-free environment.
