Our Stores are one of the keys to our success.   This position is in our Snowmass Village Ski Cafe store located in the View Line Hotel in Snowmass Village.  

We are seeking Ski Rental Technician’s to join our Gorsuch family of retail and ski technician professionals. This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with an interest in skiing, quality, and a passion for the mountain lifestyle to be part of our team. 

The Ski Technician job is more than a job.  The Ski Technician is part of a team that is instrumental in providing the best customer service to our guests, helping our guests choose the right equipment and fit them accordingly to make certain they enjoy their day of skiing or snowboarding.

General Duties the Ski Technician Does are:

• Engage and connect with our customers by providing the best service.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, merchandise, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Maintain shop keeping standards as outlined by management.
• Adhere to all the health and safety procedures. 

What the Ski Technician will need to be a great candidate:

• Previous experience in ski shop preferred.
• High level of Snowsports industry product knowledge.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy working in a team setting and helping other departments when needed.
• Experience with POS and Rental Reservations software preferred. 

Compensation and Benefits: 

The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $22- $28 hourly. The rate of pay is the range we reasonably expect to pay for this position and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

We offer skier schedules: split shifts, day shifts.  We are open daily, holiday's, weekends when the ski area is open.
