What You’ll Do as Food & Beverage Supervisor/ Assistant General Manager Leadership: Assist in onboarding, training, and developing all restaurant staff, ensuring an engaged, high-performing team in a fast-paced environment. Operational Excellence: Oversee daily front- and back-of-house operations including restaurant, lounge, banquet, catering, and kitchen operations. Scheduling & Staffing: Monitor labor productivity and staffing needs throughout each shift, assisting with scheduling and making daily labor adjustments as needed. Financial Management: Support the Director of Food and Beverage in daily reporting, inventory, and labor management. Guest Safety & Compliance: Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health regulations to maintain a safe and clean restaurant environment. Guest Relations: Address guest concerns promptly and professionally in compliance with Holiday Inn brand standards, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied. Administrative Duties: Assist with essential paperwork, including equipment maintenance reporting, food safety documentation, employee coaching documentation, and operational audits. Experience: Minimum 2 year of restaurant management experience (required). Proven success overseeing high-volume shifts and ensuring speed of service in a restaurant. Skills: Knowledge of back-of-house operations, including food production, quality standards, and cleanliness. Strong understanding of front-of-house operations with the ability to support hosts, servers, bartenders, and food runners. Communication: Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to promote collaboration between kitchen staff and service staff. Leadership: Deliver performance feedback, setting goals, and fostering a team-oriented culture. Ability to serve as Manager on Duty as assigned. Organization: Skills and a strong guest-focused mindset.
