This is a full‑time position with 1st shift hours. Weekend availability is required. This position is eligible for discounted downtown parking, free employee meals, hotel and restaurant discounts and more. SUMMARY Creating guests’ satisfaction by ensuring the 4‑Diamond cleanliness of each guest room. Ability to manage time during cleaning while maintaining high standards. Flexibility with day‑to‑day operations and adjustments. Ensuring guests are cared for through communication and going above & beyond for requests. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Complete all daily responsibilities and cleaning task list. Complete 12 vacant dirty rooms within an 8‑hour shift, including 12 showers, 12 tubs, 12 toilets, and 12–24 beds. Use a variety of designated chemicals to clean assigned areas. Work independently and follow directions as assigned by supervisors. Meet guest satisfaction by cleaning to an 86% cleanliness standard. Attend departmental meetings. Provide excellent guest service and assist with requests. Read and understand all memos that pertain to the housekeeping department. Clean and re‑stock all areas of the guest room per established standards using a vacuum, sticky roll, and department‑issued cleaning chemicals. Complete clean check‑outs at 35 minutes per room, and clean stayovers at 15 minutes per room. Address guest complaints or requests with professionalism and patience within ten minutes. Follow workflow provided by supervisors, expediters, and device to complete daily assignments and production standards (12 to 19 rooms per shift). Report maintenance issues in rooms through issued device. Move and arrange furniture per established standards. Maintain a well‑stocked, tidy cart free of unapproved items. Attending all mandatory departmental meetings. Communicate effectively with floor supervisors, housemen, and managers. Perform any other tasks assigned by inspectors, supervisors, or managers. Use and maintain equipment properly per safety and quality standards. Maintain assigned area including hallways, windows, elevator landings, and guest rooms per safety and quality standards. Report damages, personal property left by guests, and guest violations of policies. Safely maneuver and control the housekeeping cart, exerting up to 50 lbs. of force. Perform deep cleaning as assigned. Maintain linen properly. Maintain hotel assets at all times. Any other duties assigned by management. REQUIRED SKILLS Work alone or in a team atmosphere. Excellent customer service skills. Effective listening skills. Organizational skills. Adapt to a fast‑paced environment. Work in a busy and occasionally noisy environment. Work with frequent dirt, dust, and fumes. Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Detail oriented. Lift at least 50 lbs. repeatedly.
