Bemana is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Specialist in Lowell, MA to join a team, where you will play a vital role in maintaining critical process cooling for boron trichloride recovery. Operating in a high-tech chemical manufacturing environment, this position leverages your deep HVAC/R expertise to ensure the reliability and safety of ultra-low temperature systems. You will work directly with advanced cascade refrigeration units operating down to -128F while receiving comprehensive on-the-job training on our unique facility protocols. Base salary up to $120K based on experience. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to applywe could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions. Job Duties

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on industrial refrigeration equipment (compressors, evaporators, condensers, and heat exchangers).
• Maintain and operate cascade refrigeration units and Syltherm oil circulation systems running at ultra-low temperatures (-105F to -128F).
• Safely manage, recover, and recycle specialized industrial refrigerants, specifically R-404A and R-508B.
• Monitor roof-mounted refrigeration units, vapor expansion tanks, dehydrators, and control instrumentation to ensure continuous process cooling.
• Strictly adhere to safety and compliance protocols given the chemical processing environment involving boron trichloride.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial refrigeration systems, including cascade and low-temperature equipment.
• High-level mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for complex industrial systems.
