Pharmacy Manager

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Soliant is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Operations Manager for a direct-hire opportunity in Tulsa, OK. This is a day-shift leadership role with a major hospital system, and relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

Position Details:

Direct hire
Full-time, day shift
8-hour shifts
Relocation assistance may be available

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily pharmacy department operations
Provide pharmaceutical care and staff pharmacist support as needed
Manage pharmacy inventory and staff oversight
Develop and maintain pharmacy policies and procedures
Provide education, mentoring, and oversight to clinical pharmacists and support staff
Assist with pharmacy management when the Pharmacy Director is unavailable

Requirements:

BS or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
5+ years of hospital pharmacy experience, including related leadership experience
Active pharmacist license in good standing
Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 14 days of hire and before providing direct patient care
Experience with Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical record systems
Must meet applicable state requirements, including sterile compounding requirements if applicable

Preferred:

PharmD from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy
1+ year as a pharmacy operations specialist
Hospital pharmacy management experience
ALS/ACLS certification
