Job Title Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU / Telemetry (Tele) – Days Location Tucson, AZ | Progressive Care / Telemetry (Float Pool – Multiple Facilities) Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Day Shift 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Expected 36–48 hours/week | 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule Key Responsibilities Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care in a PCU/Telemetry step-down setting Manage patients requiring cardiac drips and demonstrate familiarity with procedures such as TAVRs and Watchman mitral clips Assist physicians during examinations and procedures; perform patient tests and administer medications within the registered nurse scope of practice Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills Float between multiple facilities as part of a float pool assignment , adapting to varying unit needs and patient populations Document all care accurately using Cerner EMR Required Qualifications Active Arizona RN license (or compact license eligible for Arizona) BLS certification required ACLS certification required Minimum 2 years of PCU, Telemetry, or Step-Down nursing experience Cerner EMR experience required Must be willing and able to float between multiple facilities within the assigned network Preferred Experience / Skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Experience with cardiac drip management and familiarity with TAVR and Watchman mitral clip procedures Prior travel nursing experience in a float pool environment Why Join Us Gain diverse clinical experience by working across multiple facilities in the Tucson area within a dynamic float pool setting Step-down acuity environment offering exposure to complex cardiac patients and advanced interventional procedures Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 792262.
