Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available. You will juggle multiple tasks quickly while helping members with their bakery orders in a fast‑paced environment. What you will do: Collaborate with team members to build a strong bakery team and adapt to changing business needs. Operate baking equipment to prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs, following recipes and makeup instructions; wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies. Maintain food‑safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management. Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and support production and quality decisions. Ensure operational excellence: maintain work area, uphold quality and date‑control standards, secure fragile merchandise, eliminate waste, and assist members with purchasing decisions. Act as a talent ambassador by representing the department and the club, modeling high‑quality service and products. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics. Complete work assignments, prioritize using policies and data, and communicate progress while identifying improvement opportunities. How you will impact Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members. Provide exceptional customer service, answering any questions they may have. Maintain a clean, neat, member‑ready area. Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00*. *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may be paid in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Benefits Health benefits: medical, vision, and dental coverage.
