Job Opportunity – Cardiology Physician – North Carolina

Location: North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Flexible night and weekend coverage serving as second call. Minimum 1 week per month and 1 weekend per month as needed for scheduling. Shifts do not need to be consecutive.
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM (10 hours)
- Friday: 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM (11 hours)
- Saturday: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM (14 hours)
- Sunday: 5:00 PM – 6:00 AM (13 hours)

- Adult patient population with consultative and E&M services – no procedures required
- Interpretation of Echo and nuclear studies performed in hospital
- EPIC electronic medical records system
- Flexible scheduling model with non-consecutive shift options
- Holiday pay available at 1.5 times normal rate for major holidays
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Cardiology required
- Active North Carolina medical license (candidates must already be licensed in NC)
- DEA certification required
- ACLS and BLS certifications current and valid
- Minimum 1-2 years of cardiology experience
- EPIC charting system experience required
- Local candidates only
