You need to care about clients first, commissions second. Four, you're not allergic to a tape measure. Five, you've got a valid license and an insured vehicle that actually starts and runs. Six, you can work a tablet without calling your kid for help. Organized enough to never lose an estimate. Bonus: if you've sold turf, landscape, hardscape, pools, or anything else in this space.
