Senior Accountant

Job Summary We are looking for a meticulous and driven Senior Accountant to spearhead our core fiscal activities. In this role, you won't just report data; you will take full accountability for the integrity of our financial landscape. You'll act as a vital bridge between internal departments and external collaborators to guarantee audit precision and seamless reporting. We need a self-starter who thrives in high-velocity settings and can navigate complex financial workflows with minimal supervision. Primary Scope of Impact Ledger Mastery: Direct the daily pulse of the business, overseeing payables, receivables, and all general ledger movements. GAAP Compliance: Author and authorize journal entries strictly aligned with standard US regulatory frameworks. Closing Cycle Management: Drive the monthly and annual fiscal wrap-up, including variance analysis, balance sheet verification, and adherence to tight closing timelines. Liquidity Oversight: Monitor all banking and credit transactions, ensuring cash flow projections are supported by accurate real-time data. Stock & Asset Integrity: Manage the lifecycle of inventory finance, from transaction auditing and cost capitalization to resolving discrepancies alongside logistics and warehouse leads. Tax & Audit Liaison: Coordinate with third‑party consultants on sales tax filings and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, ensuring all schedules are "ready-to-review". Systems Optimization: Act as the power user for our NetSuite ERP, safeguarding data hygiene and refining transaction coding protocols. Internal Governance: Refine internal checkpoints and documentation standards (including vendor compliance and 1099s) to mitigate risk. Candidate Profile Academic Background: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Professional Tenure: At least 5 years of progressive experience in full‑cycle fiscal management. Inventory Expertise: Proven track record managing physical product flow, costing methods, and subledger‑to‑GL alignment. Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands‑on experience with robust ERP platforms (ideally NetSuite). Operational Mindset: A knack for solving puzzles, meeting hard deadlines, and communicating complex financial data to non‑finance teams. Bonus Attributes Previous exposure to the industrial, manufacturing, or heavy equipment sectors. Background operating within rapidly scaling startups . Bilingual proficiency (Korean/English) is highly valued but not a prerequisite.
