Schedule Details: Monday through Friday, Saturday Scheduled Hours: 8a-4:30p Shift: 1 - Day Shift, 8 Hours Hours: 0 Cost Center: 25080 - 3580 Mammography This position may have a signing bonus available; a member of the Recruitment Team will confirm eligibility during the interview process. Major Responsibilities Operate Mammography Equipment and perform Mammography Exams; conduct a psychological and physical assessment of each patient, making adjustments in the standard imaging procedures and techniques to accommodate patient size, age or condition using universal protocol and sterile techniques as necessary. Demonstrate breast self‑examination if required. Record all pertinent breast history from the patient and note any discomfort or medical complaint that could be important to the Radiologist. Adhere to established departmental policies and procedures, and safety controls. Accurately document work in the HIS/RIS/PACS and PEN RAD systems. Assist in other areas/modalities as needed. Clean and maintain all accessory equipment (i.e., paddles, detectors, work area). Remain abreast of developments in the field of Mammography and maintain all necessary continuing educational units for Mammography. Be responsible for Quality Control designated by supervisor. Position Qualifications License/Certification/Education Registration in both Diagnostic Radiology and Mammography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). License by the State of Massachusetts as a mammography technologist. BLS healthcare provider required before completion of the 90‑day probationary period. Experience/Skills Level of knowledge equivalent to an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology. Prior experience in the field (preferred).
