Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides critical patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. They assess, manage, and implement treatment plans for diverse medical emergencies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency treatments and medications according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to acute changes in condition.
• Perform initial assessments and prioritize care based on severity.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient interactions, treatments, and progress accurately.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current RN license required.
• Proven experience in Emergency Room or acute care setting preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and multitask effectively.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
