Position Title: Director of Finance Are you an experienced finance leader looking to make a meaningful impact in your community? This executive leadership role offers the opportunity to work directly with the CEO while overseeing budgeting, governmental accounting and long-term financial strategy for a mission-driven organization. The Director of Finance will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of a governmental entity dedicated to enhancing community health and wellness. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in municipal finance and governmental accounting. The role demands strong analytical skills and the ability to present financial information effectively to a highly engaged Board of Directors. Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 / Year DOE Director Of Finance Responsibilities Lead all finance and accounting operations Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning Manage cash flow, investments, and banking relationships Oversee debt, bonds, pensions, and OPEB Ensure accurate financial reporting, audits, and compliance with government accounting standards Present financial reports to the Board of Directors Supervise the accounting team and improve financial processes and internal controls Director Of Finance Requirements Local Government or public sector experience is required 5-8+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting Experience managing debt, investments, and treasury functions Supervisory/management experience is required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPointMaster's degree is preferred CPA is preferred Benefits 100% employer-paid Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Up to $3,000 annual dependent medical reimbursement (per family member) Employer-paid post-employment healthcare CalPERS Retirement Supplemental Retirement Plan Employee Assistance Program Gym membership reimbursement Up to 480 hours of PTO, with unused hours paid out at the end of the year If you are a Director of Finance looking to take the next step in your career, apply now! #J-18808-Ljbffr
