As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Rounds in Wailuku, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government services location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of individuals entering and leaving the location.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrols, and observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
