Job Posting: TRID Specialist/Mortgage Disclosure Specialist

Pay Rate: $20–$22/hour (W2)

Duration: 9-week contract

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Location: San Diego, CA 92111 (Hybrid)

Position Summary

The TRID Specialist supports Secondary Marketing operations by managing, reviewing, processing, and finalizing loan documentation in compliance with applicable agency, investor, title company, and county recorder requirements. This role ensures accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of loan files while maintaining strict quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review final loan documents, identify discrepancies, and complete required corrections
• Process document audits and update records as needed
• Log and maintain accurate documentation within internal systems
• Monitor incoming work quality to identify trends and reduce recurring errors
• Respond to document requests, file reviews, and loan file inquiries
• Communicate issues related to document completion and retrieval
• Process requests for original and copy documents based on workflow priorities
• Recommend process and workflow improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in mortgage loan file/document review or related field
• Strong understanding of document control and workflow processes
• Experience with PDF tools and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
