Registered Respiratory Therapist - 12 Hour Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work in a dynamic environment, providing respiratory care to patients across various settings. Responsibilities will include administering treatments, managing ventilators, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and establish appropriate treatment plans based on physician orders.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including O2 therapy, mechanical ventilation, and nebulizers.
• Perform independent intubations for adult patients.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments, adjusting care as necessary.
• Set up and manage respiratory equipment, including ventilators and non-invasive ventilation devices.
• Perform EKGs during off-hours as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RRT license; CRT may be accepted if obtained prior to July 1, 2022.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Experience in Level 2-3 NICU and adult/pediatric respiratory care.
• Must be able to intubate independently.
