Registered Nurse RN

Overview Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our network of healthcare professionals serving hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. Based in Cary, North Carolina, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while working across different settings and patient populations. Responsibilities Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with facility protocols and professional nursing standards. Conduct comprehensive assessments, monitor vital signs, recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, and communicate effectively with physicians and the broader care team. Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately; document all care in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR); ensure interventions are carried out in a timely and clinically appropriate manner. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—physicians, nurse leaders, therapists, case managers, and support staff—to develop and implement individualized plans of care. Educate patients and families with clear, compassionate explanations of diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions to promote understanding, adherence, and safe transitions of care. Actively participate in discharge planning and coordination, connecting patients to appropriate follow-up services and community resources. Adapt to new environments, workflows, and patient acuity levels; learn unit routines and utilize facility-specific technology and EMR systems. Uphold infection prevention and control practices and maintain awareness of regulatory standards, including HIPAA and Joint Commission requirements. Qualifications Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Ability to adapt to a variety of hospitals, clinics, and long-term care settings and to manage different workflows and patient acuity levels. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with physicians, leaders, therapists, case managers, and support staff. Commitment to professional nursing standards, patient safety, and quality care; knowledge of infection control and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, Joint Commission). Ability to work independently within scope of practice and contribute to team-based care.
