Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry to join a fast-paced acute care team. The ideal candidate will have recent inpatient telemetry experience, strong clinical assessment skills, and Epic EMR experience. The RN will provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring of telemetry patients.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in Epic EMR.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care inpatient Telemetry RN experience.
• Recent Epic EMR experience required.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN).
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
