Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every 3rd weekend required; holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III or higher NICU setting
• Monitor and manage patients requiring various modes of ventilatory support including HFCC, CPAP, and mechanical ventilation
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Adhere to infection control protocols, including care for patients who may be COVID-positive

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license hits
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level III or higher NICU
• Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Ability to work every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with all modes of neonatal ventilation including HFCC, CPAP, and conventional ventilators
• Familiarity with tobacco-free and fragrance-free workplace policies
• Ability to minimize requested time off to no more than 7 days per contract period
