Respiratory Therapist (RT) – weekend Now Hiring | Full-Time We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team at a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, dependable, and experienced in providing respiratory care to subacute and long-term care patients. Position Summary: The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care services in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state regulations. This role supports patients with chronic and acute respiratory conditions in a post-acute care setting. Responsibilities: Administer respiratory treatments (neb treatments, oxygen therapy, trach care, suctioning, etc.) Monitor and assess patient respiratory status Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and oxygen delivery systems Document treatments and patient responses accurately Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to optimize patient care Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory therapies as needed Qualifications: Current RT license in good standing (state-specific) RRT or CRT accepted BLS required (ACLS preferred, if applicable) SNF, subacute, or long-term care experience preferred Strong communication and documentation skills What We Offer: Competitive pay Supportive interdisciplinary team Opportunity for long-term stability and growth Morgan Hill Healthcare Center is a skilled nursing and therapy center located in the heart of sunny Morgan Hill, California.
