Pay Range

• Hourly rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• 6:00 am start times
• 40 hours per week

Responsibilities and Duties:

As a Parts Delivery Driver, you will deliver and pick up parts and small equipment to customers, John Deere Depot, and other company locations as needed.

• Safely and securely transport parts, small equipment, and related supplies to customers and our locations in a timely, safe, and courteous manner.
• Maintains a clean vehicle and performs work in an organized and orderly fashion.
• Will be back up to other positions as deemed necessary by leadership.
• Promote the sale of parts and service at all times.
• Ensuring the truck and trailer are in good working condition before making any delivery.
• Maintains paper records of pickup and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts.
• Accounts for all distance traveled in performing assigned duties.
• Quality control checks equipment and parts during loading and unloading process.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Report all injuries, near misses, and accidents within the hour to your Manager, Supervisor, or Risk Supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1 – 6 years' delivery experience (or equivalent).
• Must have good computer skills and a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery and set-up processes.
• Ability to assemble machinery components and to follow manufacturer's pre-delivery instructions.
• Ability to drive with a Class C drivers license and be covered under our insurance policy.
