Automation Integration Engineer/Information Security OfficerThe Automation Integration Engineer/Information Security Officer will support the development of intelligent automation and system integrations across the organization. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with foundational programming experience especially in Python and a strong interest in artificial intelligence, workflow automation, and connecting systems to improve care delivery and operations. The engineer will work closely with Informatics, IT, and operational teams to implement AI-powered tools, automate routine processes, and ensure seamless data exchange between systems.Minimum QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fieldExperience0-2 years of experience in software development, automation, or system integration (internships/projects acceptable). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying. Familiarity with healthcare systems or interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR). Exposure to AI/ML concepts or tools (e.g., prompt engineering, NLP basics, or model APIs).Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI and emerging technologies. Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Python (scripting, automation, or small applications). Familiarity with APIs (REST), and data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV. Basic understanding of automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath, or similar).
