Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

$2203.20/week - Job Summary: Seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse for a seasonal Labor and Delivery assignment. This 13-week contract offers an opportunity to work in a high-volume, Level IV unit with a collaborative team environment and advanced technology. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care to laboring mothers and newborns, ensuring safety and comfort. Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using advanced equipment such as Novii, JADA, and US. Assist with procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC while maintaining sterile techniques. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Document patient information accurately in the Meditech electronic medical record system. Adhere to unit policies, dress code, and safety guidelines to ensure compliance and optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications: Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Labor and Delivery. Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, SVE competency, and C-Section circulation. Experience with fetal monitoring, internal monitor placement, and high-volume unit procedures preferred. Ability to work rotating shifts, including alternating weekends, without call requirements.
