Hotel Night Auditor

Summary: Responsible for enhancing and improving the SRHM / [Hotel Name] experience by providing outstanding service to our guests. Demonstrates and promotes SRHM’s core value of the Golden Rule which includes treating others (guests, vendors and team members) in the same manner we would like to be treated. Available to work flexible schedules as this is a floating position. Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly guest account reconciliations.Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Reconcile all credit card transactions, financial records, occupancy percentages, room charges, final bill preparation, and cash drawer activity after a thorough audit processProcess additional administrative, bookkeeping. and accounting procedures as requiredPrepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to general manager, department heads, and hotel managementRespond to inquiries, process reservations and check-ins, delegate housekeeping, security, and service requests as neededGreet all guests, vendors, and visitors professionally, and with a smileProcess guest check-in and check-out in accordance with hotel policy and proceduresMake and confirm guest reservationsAnswer phone professionally and cordiallyAssist guests with special requests including room placement when possibleShare hotel amenities and special features with guestsProcess all payments types e.g. charges, cash, checks, debit or credit cardsCoordinate with Housekeeping Department to track room readiness and communicate guest concerns if necessaryEnsure that all complaints regarding service and/or accommodations are investigated and resolved in a friendly and respectful mannerAssist in completing required Front office reportsKeep General Manager informed of any guest issues or concernsReport suspicious activity to General Manager and law enforcement when deemed necessaryFollow and implement rules and regulations as per [brand] StandardsFlexible to cover varying shifts for floating position.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
