Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers with manual or automatic transmissions, ensuring smooth and safe driving across various routes
• Drive dry van, flatbeds, conestoga, or other specialized equipment to meet diverse freight needs
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment when necessary, adhering to safety protocols
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Plan efficient routes for both regional and OTR deliveries, optimizing delivery times and fuel efficiency
• Secure freight properly for transport, including various steel or machinery
• Maintain accurate delivery records and vehicle maintenance reports
• State of the art ELD camera systems where drivers are rewarded for their safe driving

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
• Minimum 1 year experience driving tractor-trailers with manual transmissions preferred and clear safety record
• Familiarity with flatbeds, vans, and other specialized equipment
• Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route driving and load & unload procedures
• Ability to operate forklifts safely when handling cargo in warehouses or loading docks
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight handling
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude on the road
