Employment Opportunities P/T Plumbing Inspector/Plumbing Subcode Official – The Borough of Point Pleasant Beach is accepting applications for the position of Part‑time Plumbing Subcode Official (HHS). SALARY RANGE: $42‑56 per hour. Benefits include paid time off for holidays, vacation, sick, and personal. HOURS: Flexible, not to exceed 14 hours/week; Monday–Friday. DUTIES: Under the direction of the Construction Official, administers and enforces the plumbing subcode of the New Jersey State Uniform Construction Code within the jurisdiction by reviewing plans, conducting inspections of new construction, renovations and existing buildings, issuing permits, warnings, citations, stop‑work orders, and recommending certificates of occupancy to ensure compliance with approved plans, code requirements and public health and safety standards. KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: Applicants must possess a valid New Jersey Plumbing Subcode Official license, a valid Plumbing Inspector HHS license, two (2) years of experience and maintain a valid New Jersey driver’s license.
