This is a hands-on field position that combines fuel delivery with service support, maintenance inspections, and on-site upsell opportunities. This role is ideal for a dependable driver with strong people skills and technical aptitude: someone who can deliver safely, perform routine service functions, and identify opportunities to add value to the customer. Requirements: CDL Class B with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements: Required Clean driving record and DOT medical card Ability to lift heavy equipment and operate in various weather conditions Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with heating systems Strong customer service skills with ability to explain services and promote upgrades Willingness to complete safety certifications and participate in ongoing training Demonstrate gas piping installation proficiency and understanding Technical ability to perform repairs Key Responsibilities: Deliver fuel oil and propane to residential and commercial accounts on assigned route Perform basic system inspections during service or delivery calls Identify potential service needs and present upsell opportunities (service contracts, regulator replacements, system upgrades, etc.) Ensure accurate documentation of delivery, service work, and upsell opportunities in CRM or route logs Maintain truck and equipment according to safety and compliance standards Provide exceptional on-site customer experience: represent Kimlin with professionalism Follow all DOT, OSHA, and internal safety procedures Compensation & Benefits: Competitive hourly wage with overtime available Performance bonus opportunities for upsell on-visit conversions Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid holidays and PTO 401(k) plan with company match Uniforms and safety gear provided Monday–Friday daytime schedule with local routes only, home every night (seasonal overtime available) Location Requirement: This position is based out of Kimlin Energy Services headquarters in Gardiner, NY.
