Security Officer - Operations Campus (Goodyear, AZ) As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-profile data center location, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a data center location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support established check‑in processes for personnel, contractors, and deliveries. Assist with inspecting gates, doors, fencing, lighting, and other access points for irregularities, and communicate maintenance and/or security‑related issues according to site procedures. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A current guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
