Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Role Overview: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides compassionate, quality nursing care in a caring environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in directing nursing services under RN supervision, ensuring adherence to the Nursing Practice Act Delegate tasks to nursing staff and monitor their performance Observe patients for symptoms, reactions, and changes in physical or mental condition Notify physicians of emergencies or patient changes and implement physician orders Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma and graduation from an accredited Nursing School Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing with proof of renewal Willingness to serve as charge nurse and provide emergency coverage as needed Ability to deliver quality geriatric nursing care, follow medical orders, and demonstrate genuine interest in patient well-being CPR certification renewed annually and participation in in-service training Additional Notes: Candidates should be committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace, and background checks are part of the hiring process.
