Corporate Actions Specialist

Role Overview We are seeking a Corporate Actions Specialist to support corporate actions, dividend processing, securities transactions, and proxy shareholder communications within a financial services environment. This role combines operational processing with advisor support, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working with financial data, and delivering excellent service. You'll help ensure transactions are processed accurately and on time while supporting internal teams with questions and issue resolution. What You’ll Be Doing Provide phone support to advisors and internal teams, answering questions and resolving issues. Review forms and documentation for completeness, accuracy, and proper processing. Process, reconcile, validate, and report cash and securities transactions. Research and resolve transaction discrepancies involving DTCC, transfer agents, and other financial institutions. Monitor reports and exception queues to ensure accurate processing of transactions. Ensure accurate processing of dividend payments. Ensure accurate processing of dividend reinvestments. Ensure accurate processing of reversals and adjustments. Ensure accurate processing of fractional liquidations. Support proxy shareholder communication activities and respond to advisor inquiries. Maintain accurate records while following established procedures and operational standards. Partner with internal stakeholders to support a strong risk and control environment. Pay, Schedule & Logistics Pay: $20.00–$25.00/hour Contract‑to‑hire opportunity Location: Tempe, AZ Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote Typical schedule: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Start Date: August 10, 2026 Moderate phone volume (approximately 10–20 calls per day) Requirements • Must-Have Experience supporting corporate actions, including voluntary and reorganization events. Experience processing dividends, securities transactions, or proxy shareholder communications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing documents and validating transactions. Ability to investigate and resolve processing discrepancies. Experience supporting advisor, customer, or internal inquiries by phone. Working knowledge of financial services operations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel. Ability to manage operational processing and phone support responsibilities simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
