Truck Driver CDL A Solo Regional

Position Description Class A CDL Truck Driver – Maple Grove, MN. Compensation and Schedule Weekly pay of $1,560 or more Hourly rate: $33.00 per hour Hours per week: 40 or more Per diem pay for 2–3 nights in truck per week Overnights covered by sleeper cab or Ryder‑booked hotels Paid training Schedule: Monday – Friday, starting at 5:00 AM Route, Equipment and Freight Delivery to MN, ND, SD, IA and WI Regional route Tractor: Day cab & sleeper Trailer: 48′ and 53′ dry van Equipment: pallet jack and lift gate (Ryder provides training) Freight: touch–palletized retail goods Vehicle Detail Trucks are 36 months or newer 24/7 roadside maintenance Fuel support at over 800 nationwide facilities Benefits Medical, dental, & vision after 30 days 80 hours PTO in first year (use‑it‑or‑get‑paid) Uniforms & boot allowance provided Drivers are the captain – make safety decisions; job protection 401(k) rollover now, company match at 1 year 12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to eligibility) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech & more Requirements Minimum 21 years of age Pass a Ryder drug test Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check (including drug & alcohol verification from the last 3 years of employment) Pass a DOT physical Pass the Ryder road test Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within the last 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
