Principal Risk Intelligence and AI Design

The Principal, Risk Intelligence and AI Design Manager is accountable for managing complex, critical, and large disciplinary areas within the institution. This role leads a team of professionals, providing strategic direction, resource control, and policy formulation to achieve business objectives. The manager ensures the delivery of a full range of services across multiple business units or geographic regions, maintains commercial awareness, and communicates at senior levels both internally and, when necessary, externally. Responsibilities Manage Advanced Reporting Capabilities Using AI, including planning and executing enhancements with AI‑driven features, drafting business cases for strategic investments, and overseeing product implementation and continuous improvements. Perform High‑Touch Management Reporting: Own production of key ER and BDSR reports, evaluate and strengthen reporting controls, lead automation of manual data‑transformation activities where economically sensible, and manage the reporting and data‑production calendar. Administer Risk Metric Data: Ensure accuracy of risk‑metric data in systems of record, review and enhance controls related to metric quality, and support automation of metric dissemination. Perform liaison activities during audits by regulatory examination agencies and internal/external audit groups, coordinating with business units, and assessing risks in business decisions to safeguard the firm’s reputation and assets. People‑Manager Responsibilities: Lead and develop a team supporting reporting, data quality, and automation; oversee workflow prioritization, production timelines, and quality control; provide coaching and ensure delivery consistency across all ER reporting functions. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in Banking or Financial Services and an advanced degree. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to non‑technical audiences. Strong planning, organizing, and cross‑departmental collaboration skills; ability to track performance, communicate expectations, anticipate problems, and manage escalations. Proficiency in applying CoB standards, prioritizing responsibilities, and utilizing analytical skills to improve project performance. Education Bachelor’s or University degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Salary and Benefits Full‑time salary range: $115,840 – $173,760 per annum.
